SKY'S NEW TV SHOW - 'BATTLE OF THE BRIDES'

Here's a blog that slipped through the net I didn't add...

Last November I was approached by a production company to work with them on their new series 'Battle of The Brides' for Sky Living HD.

The concept goes something like this!!!!

Battle of the Brides will give 16 beautiful brides the opportunity to have the wedding of their dreams.

Just one small snag though - they have to share their dream day with a complete stranger.

Each week, two brides will go head to head in a battle to have their perfect day just the way they want it.

They have the budget, they just have to share it, and that includes having everything the same.

So that's the same venue, food, flowers and, yes, even their dresses have to match. Ouch.

Will these brides be blushing with rage or will they learn to compromise? Hmm...

Actor Liam Neeson OBE - for London Film Festival

Wednesday 26th October 2011 - London

I had the utmost pleasure of working with Mr Liam Neeson OBE on Wednesday evening for the BFI Fellowship award that he presented at the BFI 2011 awards ceremony at The London Film Festival to his colleague and friend Ralph Fiennes.

CHRISTY TOWELS & LIFESTYLE location shoot - Canterbury

10th & 11th October 2011 - Kent House, Nr Canterbury, Kent.

Today's 2 day shoot was in a fabulous location house down in the glorious countryside of Kent for Christy Towels, and their lifestyle range of bed linen, cushions, and luxury knitted throws.
The fires were lit, the beds were made and fresh home made cakes were on display, that mixed together with a fabulous crew made for a wonderful shoot!

I day Intensive Hair Master Class

Claire was a delight to work with, she is an incredible artist and just wanted to have a refresher day on certain hair styles and detailed up work - so I designed a day where she could fulfill her true potential - the images tell the whole tale.
I had a mid hair length model where I wanted to see Claire 'prep to perfection' before introducing any styling to the hair. My aim was for her to move promptly between looks which is absolutely vital on any commercial shoot!
Then on the 2nd model who's hair was much thicker and longer I wanted Claire to create :

*The tousled 'beached' look

*A shorter bob

*A 1920's inspired bob

*A detailed up style using all the techniques she had mastered: sectioning, back combing, curling, finger waves, barrel curls and victory rolls...

This day is ideal for anyone in the industry wishing to polish up their finesse.
You can also suggest styles you wish to Master and I will design a 1 or 2 day for you incorporating makeup and even a shoot!

Andrea Bocelli shoot with David Bailey, London

October 17th 2011

It was a gorgeous Indian Summer day and I headed into London for my regular client Mr Andrea Bocelli, who was in town for the day to shoot with renowned photographer David Bailey, at his studio in Clerkenwell.
It was one set up - of a classic portrait, before several interviews - then we were off to film 'Songs of Praise's 50th Anniversary' in Alexandra Palace.

BOURJOIS launch of Volume Clubbing Mascara with the help of a few of the M.A.C.H team

What a stunning balmy evening in Kensington.... We were asked to provide a few of the M.A.C.H team for an event held at the Roof Gardens by Bourjois UK for the launch of their new super sexy mascara 'Volume Clubbing Mascara' with the help too of DJ Hanna Wild.

4 of the M.A.C.H team were ; Amy, Elle, Holly and Amber.
2 stations were set up inside and 2 out side under the palm trees, where any of the invited guests could sample some state of the art 'trends' in eye make up and to accompany this the Volume Clubbing Mascara, plus some fabulous nail colours...ready for their evening ahead!
