NICOLE RICHIE - The Glamour Awards London

NICOLE RICHIE - The Glamour Awards June 8th London

Nicole arrived into London for a 3 day schedule to include The Glamour Awards where she was presented with The Entrepreneur Woman Of The Year Award for her fashion collection 'Winter Kate', various interviews and a presentation of her collection 'House of Harlow'.
I was asked to work with Nicole again over the 3 days, doing both Make up and Hair, previously we had worked together at the UK launch in Selfridges , London of 'Winter Kate' (image on next blog together with images from the Awards).

For the Make up, which was provided by Nars Nicole and I worked together to create an elegant Audrey Hepburn inspired look with Nicole's edge added to the mix.
I used a mix of foundation and light reflecting cream extremely lightly to create a flawless base, on which to apply a light dusting of translucent powder.
On the cheeks I added a sheer peach based blush with light reflecting particles in it to create a fabulous dewy look, that I know captures well on camera from all angles...concentrating this on the apple of the cheek.
Eyes were pale nude lids, with sockets sultry and smoked bringing it out to form a cat like shape.
Then I applied a thick liquid liner above the lashes, following the cat like shape forming a 'flick', just like Ms Hepburn fashioned in many of her classic looks.
Under eye was kept to a minimum, with a black kohl pencil used in the inner eye to frame the eye and make the whole look 'pop'.
Several layers of mascara were added to finish the eyes.
Eyebrows were groomed and I brushed through a light tan shade to accentuate the arch, which opens the face and balances the heavier eyed make up looks.
The look was finished with the lip gloss added last before departure to the awards. The same tone as cheeks and was a fabulous nude with a hint of peach.

Hair care products were provided by Tigi - and I created a side pony tail with added height at the back. The pony tail was textured to create a messier look, yet still glamorous, as the awards were titled!
