MAGICAL OXFORD WEDDING AMONGST THE SPIRES!

Images courtesy of barkerevans photography

Delightful couple Sara and Tim had the majestic Divinity Schools and Bodleian Library for a date in their diary just before Christmas, inviting their friends, family and other loved ones to celebrate their Wedding in true utter elegance and style.
Sara's makeup and hair for the ceremony was in keeping with her Caroline Castigliano dress, elegant and fun... We made soft smokey eyes in MAC Retrospeck, Tempting and Vex, framed the top of the lid with a liner using the seamless - Fluidline in Blitz & Glitz
The impeccable attention to detail and whole planning was down to the gorgeous lady with the wand, Isobel Lamplough of Isobel Weddings, where yet again colour schemes, lighting and sheer opulence dazzled the guests as they entered the marquee, housed between the history of 2 of Oxfords most incredible buildings!
The scene was framed by an ever flowing stream of delicate cream roses and much more by floral artist Emma Walker, which festooned every where the eye looked, Emma's distinctive creativity was admired by everyone, including myself (thank you again Emma for a few too, they graced the Christmas table for dinner sensationally!!)
To capture all the beauty of the day, Susie and Harley of renowned Barker Evans Photography, made sure, as always that their eyes didn't miss a beat and encapsulated the feel, tone and delights of the day stunningly as always...as seen here above...the images speak for themselves!
It was a pleasure to be involved with such a lovely couple's day...

DIRECTOR JAMES WATKINS - PRESS JUNKET DAY FOR NEW MOVIE 'The Woman In Black', LONDON

Our Press Junket Room for the day at The Corinthia Hotel, London

Today I was with a press junket for the new movie 'The Woman In Black' and I had the pleasure of working with the charming Director James Watkins. The movie set in Yorkshire will premier in London tomorrow, and fans of Daniel Radcliffe will no doubt be lining the pavements of Leicester Square for a glimpse of the actor.

James had flawless skin and not wishing for a 'face of makeup' I applied the magic 'UV Under Base Mousse' in Beige by Shu Uemura, which is fabulous for evening out skin tone and texture, disguising redness, minimizes the appearance of pores and is just the best under base/primer I have ever used...totally perfect for everyone including male grooming! Guys love the look of their skin with this on...
Then applied a small buff over the skin of Nars Duo Concealer in Vanilla/Honey - perfect for the paler toned skin, and set that very lightly with The Green People's Pressed Foundation Powder in Honey and the interviews began...

JOANNA TROLLOPE SHOOT

For the launch of her new book,'The Soldier's Wife'

Another delightful shoot with the ever so lovely Joanna Trollope. It was a pleasure to be asked again to work on the new publicity shots for what will be another fabulous book launch for ‘The Soldier’s Wife’ which is due to be released on the 2nd February published by Transworld.

I created Joanna’s natural look with a range of Organic Mineral Makeup by The Green People - for a flawless base try their pressed mineral foundation powder in 'Caramel' great for yellow undertones, and mature skin looks effortlessly immaculate, certainly not caked or heavy. Very easy to use with a kabuki brush in large circular movements.

Joanna's eyes were dusted with Nars duo eye shadow in 'Byzance' - by mixing the two shades and applying to the lid up into the sockets, followed by Nars single eye shadow in Blondie
worked into the lower lash line very softly and along top lashes to create a slight shadow, for contrast, finished with The Green People's Soya Volumising Mascara in black. To compliment and finish the whole natural sophisticated feel that Joanna exudes, I used a Blusher by Nars in Zen, a fabulous hint of colour for that barely there, clean look!

The Green People - Suitable for sensitive skin and those prone to acne, eczema, psoriasis or rosacea - Free from the harsh synthetic chemicals found in many high street make-up brands such as Mercury, Phthalates, Parabens & Carcinogens. Also free from Bismuth Oxychloride and Carmine.

These beautiful images were taken by Society Photographers, the dynamic duo, Susie Barker and Harley Evans of Barker Evans Photography

Thanks to Katie from Transworld and thanks to Joanna for the perfect cup of tea and inspirational conversations...delightful!

Chloe Moretz - Hugo premiere London England 2011

One of my favorite ladies, the gorgeous actress CHLOE MORETZ, was in town for several days of press and TV for her new movie 'HUGO' with Director Martin Scorsese, before heading to Paris for more promo and Premiers, where she was in fine hands of M.A.C.H artist Melanie Meik who kindly stepped in for me, due to a short trip with Mr Richie in Dublin.

The evening was a windy one...and so Chloe and decided upon a chic yet messy Boho style side knot...worked well with the structure of her dress, except one gust too many separated the parting a little!! Mother nature...

The makeup was as always with Chloe, fresh and glowing, with little powder, main concentration of makeup on the eyes - this time using TERRE D'OC very kindly sent from the lovely Liz at Goddess PR...I used the fabulous eye Kohl in Black along Chloe's bottom lashes, working it into the lower inner eye for a dramatic look, drawing attention to the eyes, yet soft on the lid in NACRE MEKNES 404 and a hint of warmth in the cheeks Fard Á Joues Blush 821 Corail Goto and the mineral foundation Beige Tendre Atlas 901 as a dusting, followed by Lip Gloss SUBLIME in NUDE 304...adds just enough to finish off a cool, sophisticated look.

TERRE D'OC

Terre d'Oc offers a complete range of organic cosmetics with beautiful palettes of natural and safe mineral pigments that give a unified, velvety and very natural finish. All Terre d'Oc cosmetics are Ecocert certified and use Fair Trade ingredients whenever possible. No products are tested on animals.

The beauty of Terre d'Oc is their ingredients - naturel and pure, you know that you are applying quality products, that will not only wear superbly, but that allow an artist to build colour, and easily, but on top of all this they are also good for you - no harsh chemical based synthetics!

Come on ladies, and artists alike...these are a must for your bag and kit - also the packaging for Eye ohls and Lip Sticks come in THE most dainty packaging!

TINA BARRETT'S NEW VIDEO - 'ABSOLUTELLY FABULOUS DARLING, SWEETIE DARLING'!

SKY'S NEW TV SHOW - 'BATTLE OF THE BRIDES'

Here's a blog that slipped through the net I didn't add...

Last November I was approached by a production company to work with them on their new series 'Battle of The Brides' for Sky Living HD.

The concept goes something like this!!!!

Battle of the Brides will give 16 beautiful brides the opportunity to have the wedding of their dreams.

Just one small snag though - they have to share their dream day with a complete stranger.

Each week, two brides will go head to head in a battle to have their perfect day just the way they want it.

They have the budget, they just have to share it, and that includes having everything the same.

So that's the same venue, food, flowers and, yes, even their dresses have to match. Ouch.

Will these brides be blushing with rage or will they learn to compromise? Hmm...

Let the battle commence.

If you can't wait until Battle of the Brides starts, make sure you set a never miss reminder, so that you don't miss the start of the series - just follow the link here.

We had a great time filming...and hope the Fairy tales are happy ever after ladies and gentlemen!

The M.A.C.H team....x
